At Cyber Skill Nexus (CSN), we are dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment where every student, instructor, and staff member can thrive. Our Code of Conduct outlines the behavioral expectations, ethical standards, and professional responsibilities that govern our community.

This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals associated with CSN, including:

  • Students enrolled in our programs
  • Instructors and trainers
  • Staff and administrative personnel
  • Guest lecturers and industry partners
  • Visitors and participants in CSN events
By enrolling in our programs or joining our community, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

3. Anti-Harassment Policy

CSN maintains a zero-tolerance policy against harassment in any form. Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

Verbal Harassment
  • Offensive jokes or comments
  • Insults or name-calling
  • Threats or intimidation
  • Inappropriate sexual comments
Physical Harassment
  • Unwanted touching or contact
  • Physical intimidation
  • Violence or threats of violence
  • Personal space violations
Digital Harassment
  • Cyberbullying or online abuse
  • Unwanted messages or content
  • Stalking or surveillance
  • Doxxing or privacy violations
Sexual Harassment
  • Unwanted sexual advances
  • Requests for sexual favors
  • Sexual jokes or comments
  • Explicit images or content
Any form of harassment will result in immediate disciplinary action, including potential dismissal from programs.

4. Academic Integrity

We uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. All students are expected to:

Original Work

Submit only your own work and properly cite sources

Honesty

Be truthful about your work and academic standing

Fairness

Respect others' work and intellectual property

Prohibited Actions:
  • Plagiarism: Copying others' work or using AI-generated content without attribution
  • Cheating: Using unauthorized materials during exams or assessments
  • Unauthorized Collab: Working with others on individual assignments
  • Impersonation: Having someone else complete your work
  • Falsification: Fabricating data, results, or credentials
  • Unauthorized Sharing: Distributing course materials without permission
  • AI Misuse: Submitting AI-generated content as your own work
Violations of academic integrity may result in failing grades, program dismissal, and permanent record notation.

5. Professional Conduct

All members of the CSN community are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times:

Punctuality & Attendance
  • Attend all scheduled sessions on time
  • Notify instructors of planned absences
  • Complete assignments by deadlines
  • Participate actively in learning activities
Professionalism
  • Dress appropriately for learning environment
  • Use professional language and tone
  • Respect others' time and contributions
  • Maintain confidentiality when required
Collaboration
  • Work effectively in teams
  • Share knowledge and resources
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Support fellow students' learning
Ethical Behavior
  • Follow all CSN policies and procedures
  • Report violations appropriately
  • Maintain data privacy and security
  • Represent CSN professionally

All communications within the CSN community should be:

Respond to messages promptly

Communication Guidelines:
  • Use clear and professional subject lines in emails
  • Proofread messages before sending
  • Avoid using all caps (indicating shouting)
  • Be mindful of tone in written communication
  • Respect others' time and availability
  • Maintain confidentiality in all communications
  • Use appropriate channels for different types of communication

7. Privacy & Respect

We are committed to protecting the privacy and dignity of all community members:

Personal Information
  • Do not share others' personal information without consent
  • Respect confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Use CSN systems responsibly
  • Report privacy concerns immediately
Personal Boundaries
  • Respect physical and emotional boundaries
  • Ask before sharing personal content
  • Be mindful of cultural differences

8. Technology Use

When using CSN technology resources, you must:

  • Use your own authorized accounts only
  • Not share login credentials with others
  • Use technology for educational purposes only
  • Not attempt to bypass security measures
  • Not download or install unauthorized software
  • Report security vulnerabilities promptly
  • Respect intellectual property and copyrights
  • Use AI tools responsibly and with proper attribution
Misuse of CSN technology resources may result in disciplinary action and legal consequences.

10. Reporting Violations

11. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including:

12. Appeals Process

Students have the right to appeal disciplinary decisions:

Step 1: Written Appeal

Submit a written appeal within 14 days of receiving the disciplinary decision.

Step 2: Review Committee

A committee of faculty and staff reviews your appeal and all evidence.

Step 3: Hearing

You may request a hearing to present your case and respond to evidence.

Step 4: Final Decision

The committee issues a final decision within 30 days of the appeal.
